Oregon Women Lose at Washington, Snap Three Game Winning Streak

The Oregon Ducks latest three game winning streak in the Pac-12 Conference came to an end on Sunday night in Seattle with a loss to the Washington Huskies 70-55. Oregon dropped to 11-12 overall and are 4-8 in the Pac-12. Washington is now at 18-6 on the season. The Ducks did a good job early, but the Huskies had a 12-0 run early in the game that the Ducks would not recover from.

Kelsey Plum and Jasmine Davis put up a combined thirty-five points in the win, and Oregon did their best by holding them to twelve for thirty eight shooting the ball. Jillian Alleyne had another quality performance with nineteen points and ninteeen rebounds notching her an NCAA Best 19th double-double on the season.

It was another game that Oregon could not get ahead. The closest they were to the lead was four points midway through the second half, but with every Oregon point, there was a Washington response that was always better. The Huskies had multiple ten plus point runs in the game and shot better from the free throw line than Oregon.

Washington was twelve for fourteen, Oregon shot six of thirteen from the charity stripe.

Oregon returns home winners of three of their last four to take in Arizona on Friday night at 6pm on Pac-12 Networks. Arizona State will visit on Sunday at 4:30pm also on Pac-12 Networks.
