The Oregon Ducks Basketball team could have been considered left for dead several weeks ago following road losses to both Washington, Washington State and Arizona. The loss to the Cougars on the road was one of the worst losses in Oregon History as the Ducks gave up one-hundred nine points. Since then, the Ducks have rebounded nicely including consecutive wins at home this past week against the teams they lost to on the road in Washington and Washington State.

Oregon Senior Joseph Young was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week after his efforts did not go unnoticed this week with a put in that gave Oregon the win over Washington and the twenty-nine point performance against Washington State on Saturday that included ten rebounds and hitting three for five from beyond the arc.

With just two home games remaining this season Young has taken over the leadership role on this team that had been searching for an identity in 2015.

Oregon will play on the road this week at USC and at UCLA before returning home for a big game against Utah that could likely impact any chance the team will have to make the NCAA tournament. The tipoff against USC is set for 6:00pm Pacific Time on Wednesday night on ESPN2. On Saturday the Bruins will look to exact revenge for a loss suffered at Matthew Knight Arena earlier this season. Tipoff on Saturday is set for 12 noon.
