The Oregon Ducks are coming off two wins against Washington and Washington State and have won five of six going back to January 22nd when they hosted USC. Dana Altman’s club will now be the road team this week visiting the Trojans and the UCLA Bruins and needs to prove they can win on the road this week for any chance at making the NCAA Tournament.

Of, course the team focus right now is just one game at a time and the schedule the rest of the way is not in Oregon’s favor. They will play the remainder of their schedule on the road and have just two games remaining at home this season, against Colorado and 11th ranked Utah next weekend at Matthew Knight Arena.

Oregon has won one-hundred and fourteen games under Head Coach Dana Altman which is a new record when you look at a five year span. Senior Joseph Young is hitting his season stride and coming off a Pac-12 Player of the Week performance and also recently hit two-thousand points in his NCAA D1 Career and one-thousand points in an Oregon Uniform in his two seasons with the team. Add to that an Offense that can score and Oregon has all the pieces to get back to March Madness.

This season close to forty percent of the team’s scoring has come from Freshman including Dillon Brooks and Dwayne Benjamin who shot eleven for twelve against Washington State last weekend in a win for the Ducks.

Oregon and USC tipoff on Wednesday night at 6pm Pacific Time on ESPN2.
