NCAA Tournament: Oregon Ducks Young Nets 27 in Win Over Oklahoma State
Oregon faced Oklahoma State in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday and from the beginning the Cowboys would not make it easy for Dana Altman and the Ducks. The game saw streaking point runs by both teams including a nine point run by Oklahoma State late in the first half. It was Joseph Young who again made a big difference for Oregon.

The Senior put the team on his back and went on his own 15-3 run to put Oregon on top at halftime. In the second half the Ducks were equally impressive and Young finished the game at the free throw line, appropriately. He hit his final two shots finishing with twenty-seven on the night in the win over Oklahoma State.
Elgin Cookadded eighteen points and had three steals in the game and
Dillon Brooksadded seventeen, including several shots inside the paint that were key to helping his team maintain the lead.
Oregon has now won NCAA Tournament games in three straight appearances matching a school record going back to the one and only time they won it all back in 1939. Oregon now enters the Round of 32 on Sunday and will look to get to the Sweet 16 against Wisconsin, a team they lost to last season in the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers are 32-3 on the season and the top seed in the region.
