This season, Pitching has been one of the strong points for the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks Defense has also had some problems this season with errors at key positions. Head Coach George Horton has always had teams where hitting was not an issue, but getting runners around third from scoring position has been a struggle at times this season. Oregon finally broke through on Wednesday night against Seattle and will look to continue forward momentum this weekend.
Oregon is looking to have a better April than they did March and so far they are 1-1 on the month. The non-conference games will continue this weekend with a three game series with Michigan State out of the Big Ten starting on Friday at 6pm Pacific Time at PK Park. The Ducks will then host Oregon State in a Civil War Series the following weekend in Eugene as they return to Pac-12 Conference play.
