Oregon Ducks Get Back on Track With Win Over Portland
The Oregon Ducks coming off a rough weekend against Michigan State in being swept by the Spartans were in need of a win to start a new streak. After losing three games at home to Michigan State the Ducks have fallen seven of their last eight games, but that changed on Tuesday. Oregon beat Portland 11-3 following big offensive outburst.

Oregon was off to a great start scoring multiple runs in three innings for a win over the Pilots giving the Ducks a 2-1 series lead on the season. George Horton saw his team score three runs in the sixth and four in the seventh to pretty much put the game away. Josh Graham had a three run home run in the seventh. Mitchell Tolman hit a two run home run in the eighth. If Oregon wants to salvage their NCAA Tournament chances, they need to take that momentum into this weekend.
A big series awaits with Oregon State at PK Park. I expect the rotation for the weekend to start with Cole Irvin, followed by Conner Harber and David Peterson as it was last weekend against Michigan State. The series begins on Friday with first pitch set for 7:30 on Friday(ESPNU). Saturday is also a 7:30 start(Pac-12 Networks). The Sunday finale is set for 2pm.
