Stanford was feisty on the basepads and managed to take a 6-5 lead scoring two runs in the top of the eighth and ninth erasing a 5-2 Oregon lead. It was all they would need to steal a game from Oregon in the three game series. The Ducks would have loved a sweep entering a non-conference game this week against Oregon State as their playoff hopes hang in the balance.
