Oregon is on a roll right now, winning fifteen straight games. Their last loss was in April on the road against UCLA. The win on Friday matches the longest winning streak for Head Coach Mike White and the team can break a new record with a win on Saturday. Hawkins has been a big reason for the Oregon Ducks success this season.
The Ducks Offense was started on Thursday with a Nikki Udria double leading to three first inning runs. Jenna Lilley then hit a two run home run. Lilley was two for four with two runs and four RBI’s on the day. It was all Hawkins would need. Arizona entered the game ranked fourth in the nation in scoring. They had opportunities, but Hawkins was better. She is now 26-3 with a 1.13 ERA on the season.
Oregon has two more games remaining in the regular season at Arizona on Friday(4pm PT, Pac-12), and Saturday at 8pm PT, ESPNU)
