Two RBI Double by Phil Craig St-Louis Gives Oregon a 2-1 Win Over Gonzaga
The Oregon Ducks post season hopes are still beating, and a little more then barely after sweeping Gonzaga in a two game midweek series at PK Park. The Ducks won 2-1 on Wednesday night in front of just over one-thousand fans on hand. Oregon Starter Jacob Corn gave up an early run, and Gonzaga loaded the bases several times over the first five innings, but the Oregon Defense was able to step up and get outs in key spots to not allow any further damage.

Phil Craig St-Louis had a big hit in the sixth after a hot hitting Mitchell Tolman walked. Tolman is hitting over .400 for the last fifteen games. St-Louis hit a line drive past the first baseman and two runs scored, including Tolman to make it 2-1 Oregon. The Ducks would not look back even though Gonzaga threatened several times with men on base. Post season hopes remain alive for the Oregon Ducks who now have a nice string of series wins. They will look to continue the winning ways this weekend at Utah before a final single game with Oregon State and the final home stand of the year hosting a ranked UCLA team at PK Park. The final series could go a long way in determining the Ducks post season fate.
Oregon and Utah take the field in Salt Lake starting on Friday at 4pm. The series continues Saturday at Saturday at 1pm and concludes on Sunday at 10am Pacific Time. All three games will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.
