Toward the end of the regular season and the NCAA Tournament Yount turned up his play a few notches. He took the performances that helped get the Ducks to the Tourney and his skills were on full display on Thursday in Chicago. Young averaged over twenty points per game this season and had a valiant thirty point effort against Wisconsin in a loss against the Badgers putting up thirty points. He had fifty seven points in the 2015 NCAA Tournament with a win against Oklahoma State and the loss to Wisconsin.
Mark D’Amico from NBA.com said Young had a solid performance, ” A couple of plays that stood out were one-on-one plays against Oregon’s Joseph Young, who easily schooled Harvey with dribble moves and blew past him into the lane. Harvey’s going to need to clean it up at that end, no doubt.”
The 205 NBA Draft is set for Thursday June 25th.
