Oregon Takes Momentum Into Final Weekend Series Hosting UCLA
The Oregon Ducks are on a roll. Head Coach George Horton has watched his team win their first three game Pac-12 series at Utah this past weekend and on Tuesday night win the season Civil War series against the Oregon State Beavers. March and April were not kind to Oregon. March saw the team go seven for seventeen in the win column and plummet out of the polls where they were ranked in the top ten.

Oregon won 3-2 in extra inning on Tuesday night in Corvallis in what was considered a non-conference game. Conor Harber threw four innings giving up just three hits and one walk. It was one of his best outings of the year. It was another comeback win for the Ducks who have learned and perfected it seems just that. Oregon was down 2-0 and came back to win the game in the top of the eleventh when Kyle Kasser hit the game winning RBI with a fly ball to left field. Oregon, with their most recent wins have also helped their post season chances and their RPI.
After sweeping Utah over the weekend, Oregon had an RPI of 72. With the win over the Beavers the Ducks moved up eight spots to 64 and can further improve their chance at post season play with wins this weekend against third ranked UCLA. The Ducks and Bruins play three games this weekend starting on Friday at 4pm, Game 2 is set for Saturday at 7 and the regular season finale is set for Sunday at noon. All three games will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
