Tennessee Titans QB Mariota Tabbed As Most Appealing Player In The NFL
Former Oregon Ducks Quarterback Marcus Mariota was recently announced as having the top sales for his NFL Jersey in the month of May. The second overall draft pick to the Tennessee Titans is also the most appealing player in the National Football League, according to Celebrity DBI, “”an independent index that quantifies and qualifies consumer perceptions of celebrities.”

Mariota quickly made himself a househould name with his talent on the field at the University of Oregon. His image off the field is just as good as it was on when he played for the Ducks. It comes as a bit of a surprise to me that he is rated so high, which will only help him down the line when it comes to endoresement deals.
Houston Defensive End J.J, Watt and Seattle Quarterback Russell Wilson rounded out the top three. ESPN says the index is broken down into several categories with Mariota being the top player in the NFL and five-hundred twentieth overall. He is liked as much as Kelly Rowland and Comedian Kevin James.
Other categories in the Celebrity DBI where Mariota is ranked near the top of the list when it comes to the National Football League include Awareness, Aspiration, Breakthrough, Endorsement, Influence and Trendsetter.
If Mariota can work his way into the Starting Lineup with the Tennessee Titans he could quickly become one of the most popular players on the field as well, further propelling his off the field status.
