The 2015 College Basketball season is still six months away. Teams in the Pac-12 Conference and around the country are either working on team building or rebuilding following the 2014 season. Jon Wilner from Mercury News sees the Oregon Ducks on the team building side of the equation, so much so that he thinks Dana Altman has put together a team good enough to compete and win the Pac-12 Conference in 2015.

While Oregon is rebuilding, Wilner sees Arizona as still a threat, but in rebuilding mode. The Wildcats still come in second on his list. UCLA, a team that has always been competetive is also undergoing an overhaul and ranks fifth in the ranking of Pac-12 teams.

Wilner notes quality depth across the conference that has not been seen in years. Tranfer Dylan Ennis from Villanova is what put Oregon on top. He is expected to take over the point guard position from graduated and likely NBA bound Joseph Young. Oregon also brings back shot block specialist Jordan Bell who will be ready to go after foot surgery in the offseason.

It will all begin to shake out this fall starting on December 7th for Oregon when they take on Navy on Pearl Harbor Day. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports.
