San Francisco 49ers Arik Armstead Set To Begin Team Workouts on Friday
Arik Armstead was the seventeenth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and is anxious to join his new teammates for offseason workouts, but he is not allowed to be there yet. The reason, according to the Oregonian, has to do with an NCAA rule surrounding the Finals Schedule at the University of Oregon.

While nine of the ten draftees by the San Francisco 49ers are in OTA’s. Final Exams are this week at Oregon and Armstead wil miss two weeks of time, but will be able to participate in Rookie Camp next week. He will be able to join his new 49ers teammates on Friday, accoring to the report.

Armstead entered the NFL Draft as a Junior and has not fulfilled his requirement for graduation, for now. He is dedicated to playing football and that is what he plans to do. He can always come back to school in the offseason to finish his degree.
San Francisco will begin the 2015 Preseason on August 15th visiting the Houston Texans.
