Oregon Ducks Set to Play Alabama…in Basketball
In what many would have hoped would have been another sport, it was announced on Thursday that Oregon has signed a contract to play a Home and Home Series in Basketball with Alabama starting this season. The non-conference slate for both teams has not yet been announced for the 2015-16 season, but for any team looking to get a potential RPI jump this is a good move.

. Oregon returns several key players for Dana Altman’s club next season including shot blocker Jordan Bell and Elgin Cook, who will be a Senior. The Ducks are coming off another NCAA Tournament appearance and loss to Wisconsin, for the second year in a row. Seeing different schemes can only help Oregon get back to the Tourney next season.
According to AL.com, the Ducks and Crimson Tide have met twice on the hardwood, with each team taking a game. The series is tied at 1-1.The first game of the series will be played in Tuscaloosa with the return game happening during the 206-17 season at Matthew Knight Arena.
