Ducks In The NBA: Ridnour On The Move Again, Traded to Charlotte, Then Oklahoma City

Former Oregon Ducks Point Guard Luke Ridnour is on the move again. After departing the Ducks in 2003 following his Junior year where he averaged close to twenty points per game, his NBA career has seen him moving around quite a bit.

Ridnour played in Seattle from 2004 till 2008 and averaged close to ten points per game in five season with the Seattle Supersonics. From 2008-2010 was in Milwaukee before travelling to three other teams including Minnesota for three seasons before one year stint with Milwaukee again and then a move to Charlotte and Orlando.

The journeyman has spent the last year with Orlando and played in just forty-seven games averaging just over nine points and fourteen minutes per game. He is now on the move again to his sixth NBA team after being traded to Charlotte on Wednesday for the rights to Latvian Player Jannis Timma. He was then traded again to Oklahoma City.

According to ESPN, Timma is currently playing in Europe and has never played a game in the NBA. He was drafted 30th in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Ridnour has played primarily as a backup in his career as a professional averaging just over nine points and four and a half assists per game in twelve seasons. The Thunder now have until July 10th to waive or trade him before his contract kicks in.
