Oregon offered Davis on Tuesday. The six foot, two hundred ten pound Corner can run a 4.45 forty yard dash and would be a key addition to the Oregon Defense. He also has offers from Arizona State, Utah, and Washington State in the Pac-12 Conference.
His statistics in 2014 were solid.
He had thirty-three tackles and three interceptions with a fumble recovery in nine games.
Speed is always a positive thing to have on the field, regardless of position. Davis would be the tenth commitment of the Class of 2016. Colorado State, Oregon and Louisville are considered among his top choices. According to Scout.com, Davis is intrigued by the Ducks offer and the opportunity Oregon presents could put him in one-on-one situations. Nebraska and Arizona State are other teams that are high on his list for the moment. He could visit Eugene later this year.
Oregon already has Safety Brady Breeze and Cornerback Troy Warner with commitments for next season. National Signing Day is on February 5th for the Class of 2016 and Oregon, who already has a solid recruiting class, would love to have Davis in the fold.
