Oregon Basketball Adds Boise State to Non-Conference Slate

The start of the 2015-16 season for College Basketball is still about six months away. Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman has been busy the last two weeks working on setting up a challenging non-conference slate for the upcoming season. A home and home series with Alabama on the basketball court was announced several weeks ago and on Monday, a three games series with Boise State on the hardwood was announced.
Jon Rothstein from CBS Sports says the first game will take place on the road for the Oregon Ducks with Altman seeing the Broncos at Matthew Knight Arena in 2016 and 2017. Last season, led by Joseph Young, the Ducks made the NCAA tournament in back to back seasons, losing to Wisconsin in the Round of 32.
Boise State finished the 2014-15 season at 25-9 and 14-4 in the Mountain West Conference.The Broncos ended the year averaging just over seventy points per game. The lose their leading scorer in Derrick Marks who led the team with nineteen points per game. Boise State has made the NCAA Tournament twice in the last three years.
