Athlon Sports: Oregon Ducks Autzen Stadium Has Best Capacity Punch

One area where the Oregon Ducks have not lacked in recent years is in football game attendance, which currently sits at one-hundred one consecutive sellouts in Eugene. According to Athlon Sports the percent of capacity sits at just over one-hundred and six percent for Autzen Stadium putting them at the top of the list of teams, based on capacity limit.

Oregon was listed at 106.3 percent of capacity for the top spot and came in with an average just over fifty-four thousand fans, which ranked them thirty-first overall among the Power 5 Stadiums that were ranked. Several other Pac-12 schools also made the list including Utah(9) and Oregon State(38). The Ducks had the highest rated stadium capacity in the rankings at 106.3 percent.

Ohio Stadium, home of Ohio State ranked first averaging over 100,000 fans, but came in at a capacity limit of just over one-hundred three percent. When it comes to a home field advantage, Oregon has shown they can pack Autzen Stadium with fans, and of course those fans can be loud, and will be again this season.

Oregon will begin the 2015 campaign with a likely packed house as the Ducks will welcome in Eastern Washington on Saturday, September 5th inside Autzen Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
