Every year EA Sports has a certain amount of fanfare when it comes to the latest release of their Madden NFL Video Game. This season there are the usual advancements in the game on both the console and also mobile versions, but one thing I usually look forward to is to see where NFL Rookies rank in the game.

According to EA Sports, he has an 87 on short throws and an 88 on mid range passes. to go with a score of 90 on the run and 88 speed.

In a comparison with former Florida State Quarterback Jamies Winston, now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mariota’s OVR is lower. Winston has an 81 with a 95 throw power, an 88 accuracy on short throws, with a 73 when it comes to speed. Although Winston was the higher in the NFL Draft, Marcus Mariota seems like the better player when it comes to Madden NFL 16, with better speed rating, specifically on the run. 90 to 73. In the video game world, he could make a big difference to help a team make a title run. Time will tell how he translates on the actual NFL Field in 2015.
Fall Camp begins for Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans on August 31st. The latest in the franchise will launch with Madden NFL 16 on August 25th.
