Oregon Football Recruiting: Ducks Get Early Defensive Jump For Class of 2017
The Oregon Ducks are off to a solid start for Class of 2017. Even though it is still two years away and a lot can happen between now and then, there is reason to be excited. Oregon received a commitment from a 4-Star Defensive End Langi Tuifua(Utah) and made an offer earlier this week to 5-Star Linebacker Nate McBride(Georgia).

Tuifua is from South Jordan, Utah and will certainly fill an area of need in the coming seasons for the Oregon Ducks.
he is the 4th best Defensive End in the state of Utah. He was committed to the Utes before the Ducks offer and decommited from Utah in May before committing to Oregon last week on July 16th.
The Ducks also made an offer to Vidalia, Georgia Inside Linebacker Nate McBride earlier this week. Rivals.com lists him as a 5-star recruit and McBride interest from SEC and Big Ten schools including Florida State, Penn State, and Michigan. McBride holds seven offers since March according to 247Sports including Michigan, Duke, Stanford, Clemson and now Oregon.
Oregon Football Recruiting has proven they know the West Coast and Hawaii, but in 2017 their reach will go into the South for the first time in a while if McBride decides that a move to Eugene is in his best interest.
