Oregon Basketball Recruiting: Ducks Offer 2016 4-Star Zach Norvell

The Oregon Ducks are working their wishlist for the 2016 Recruiting Class and have gone into Big Ten Country offering a scholarship to Zach Norvell from Chicago, Illinois. According to 247Sports Norvell is a 4-star recruit at Shooting Guard. He comes in at six foot four and one-hundred forty five pounds. Oregon is the only Pac-12 school to offer Norvell an opportunity to play on the West Coast, as of now.

Norvell is the top player out of the state of Illinios and the hometown Illini are the pick from 247Sports to land him, but he does carry interest from around the Big Ten including Michigan State and Purdue.

Rivals.com also has Minnesota in the mix

. He was visited twice in February and March from Illinois so if anyone else wants his services, it appears they will have to battle it out with the Illini.

Oregon is off to a quiet start for the Basketball Class of 2016 with a hard commitment from Small Forward Keith Smith. The addition of Zach Norvell would be an eyebrow raiser for Oregon Ducks Head Coach Dana Altman and could help the team land other top recruits from around the country and could be a nice jump start to the upcoming recruiting class.
