Pac-12 Apparel Deal With Adidas Will Not Effect Oregon Ducks Uniforms
The Oregon Ducks have been synonymous with Nike for what seems like forever, but now it appears that part of that relationship may be coming to an end. On Wednesday it was announced that the Pac-12 Conference signed three year deal with adidas.

The deal covers all Pac-12 Championship Events will make Adidas the Official partner for the Pac-12 Conference when it comes to athletic apparel and footwear.

According to the article, the deal would not cover uniforms and apparel for athletes and coaches. Those deals would continue to be made at the university level. If this is the case, it is still a blow to Nike, but a somewhat softer one when it comes to the University of Oregon.
The new multimedia deal covers apparel and what they are calling ‘Celebration Gear’, which is worn by the Champion on and off the field. Schools that will have new Adidas uniforms this season include Arizona and UCLA, both are Adidas schools. Nine schools in the Pac-12 Conference will continue to be outfitted by Nike. Utah is fitted by Under Armour.
Oregon begins the 2015 regular season hosting Eastern Washington on Saturday, September 5th at 5pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
