Oregon Ducks Set To Host Baylor For ESPN College Basketball Tipoff Marathon

In April it was announced that the Oregon Ducks would face Baylor, in basketball. The date is set for November 16th. On Tuesday, ESPN announced that for the second year in a row,
Oregon will be a part of the national wall to wall coverage
known as the College Hoops Tipoff Marathon.
The Oregon Ducks are in a small rebuilding phase with Joseph Young gone to the NBA and the Indiana Pacers. Elgin Cook will look to lead the 2015 team as four of the six leading scorers will return to the floor for Oregon. On the Defensive side of the ball Jordan Bell should be ready in time for the start of the regular season coming off foot surgery in the offseason.
The game on ESPN will begin at 8:30pm Pacific Time on the ESPN Family of networks making it a late night for the Bears. Both teams could begin the year ranked in the Top 25. Oregon and Baylor both made the NCAA Tournament last season.
The Oregon Ducks open the year hosting Jackson State at Matthew Knight Arena on November 13th before hosting Baylor on November 16th. Dana Altman will also see his team take part in a nationally televised game against Navy on Pearl Harbor Day from Hawaii on December 7th(6:30pm Pacific Time, Fox Sports 1).
