The 2015 season begins in under two weeks and the Associated Press has released the
. There are some of the usual suspects on the list, number one is of no surprise. Alabama, Oregon, Southern Cal and Florida are all roughly in their usual Top Ten forms. The Michigan State Spartans are slotted fifth to start the season, which will make the Ducks week two match-up in East Lansing all the more entertaining. The start of the season sees six Pac-12 Conference teams ranked in the Top 25, eight teams including Utah and Cal, if you go just inside the top forty at thirty seven.
The Oregon Ducks start the season ranked seventh, while the USC Trojans, who will see the Ducks at Autzen Stadium this season are right behind at eighth. UCLA(8th), Arizona State(15th), Stanford(21st), and Arizona(22nd) round out the poll for the Pac-12 Conference.
The top five to begin the year starts with defending National Champion Ohio State, ranked the first unanimous number one to start the season in the history of the AP Poll, followed by TCU and Alabama to round out the top three. Baylor from the Big 12 Conference is ranked fourth.
Oregon will face Michigan State, Arizona State, Stanford and USC during the regular season in 2015. The first game could see Oregon on the doorstep of the Top 5. Momentum is always a big player in College Football and if the cards fall right, we could see two top five ranked teams in November in Eugene.
The Oregon Ducks begin the 2015 Season hosting Eastern Washington on Saturday, September 5th at 5pm Pacific Time on the Pac-12 Network.
