. Just two Oregon Ducks made the list and neither candidate is at Quarterback. Running Back Royce Freeman, and Defensive Lineman DeForest Buckner were the top choices for the Ducks.
The Quarterback position was no surprise with USC Trojans Cody Kessler named the Pac-12 Quarterback. It should make for a good battle between likely Oregon Starter Vernon Adams and Kessler in their November matchup at Autzen Stadium to decide who is truly at the top. One area that appears to be snubbed was the Ducks’ Wide Receiving Corps led by Dwayne Stanford. Cayleb Jones from Arizona and Nelson Spruce from Colorado made the All-Pac-12 list.
On the Defensive side Miles Jack from UCLA, Su’a Cravens from USC and Scooby Wright III topped the list at Linebacker in the Pac-12 for the upcoming season. Another area where Oregon seems to have been disrespected is at Return man. Cal’s Trevir Davis took the spot over Charles Nelson from Oregon, who entering Fall Camp was considered a two way player after a stellar performance in the Oregon Spring Game back in May.
The 2015 Regular season begins on Saturday, September 5th against Eastern Washington. Kickoff at Autzen is set for 5pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
