Pac-12 Fans on DirecTV may not have much longer to wait to receive the Pac-12 Network. It appears, that an agreement has been made between the satellite provider and the network for the Conference of Champions as there are changes appearing with certain channels on the DirecTv guide according to PacificTakes

The biggest issue all along was how it was going to happen. With AT&T buying DirecTV it appears that certain hurdles have been leaped over and the three year wait is over for Pac-12 Fans.
the takeover was a very good thing as far as getting a deal pushed to the forefront. He cited the business relationship the Pac-12 already has with AT&T as a key that could push through a deal sooner rather than later.
Wilner added his two cents about the Pac-12 Network being on DirecTV in time for the start of the college football season, which is less than two weeks away.

With the tinkering of the DirecTV Guide I am cautiously hopeful that this means that DirecTV subscribers like myself will have the Pac-12 Network in time for football on September 5th. The Oregon Ducks first game of the year against Eastern Washington is set for 5pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
