The Oregon Ducks hosted several recruits on Saturday, including three-star dual threat quarterback
On Sunday, Wilson committed to play for the Oregon Ducks following the game on Saturday. However, this commitment has a little more to it for Oregon fans. You see, Wilson was the first to commit to play for Nebraska and was the first to tell now Head Coach Mike Riley he wanted to be a Nebraska Cornhusker. Riley, was previously with Oregon State before taking over at Nebraska in the offseason.
For Oregon, this is good news. Following the departure of Marcus Mariota, and being that they have Vernon Adams for a year, the Quarterback position would have been a question moving forward. Of course, with the Wide Receiving corps that the Ducks have, who wouldn’t want to come here and have those guys to throw the ball to.
"“The deciding factor, it was really coming out here, getting to hang out with the players. They take a lot of pride in the program. They are good character guys. It was good being around them. Seeing them play (Saturday night) was a big deal, too. I could see myself playing there.”Quarterback Recruit Terry Wilson to the Oregonian"
Wilson is rated the number twelve dual threat quarterback in the country and number two out of the state of Oklahoma according to ESPN. He becomes the second dual threat signal caller, along with Seth Green to commit to the Ducks for the class of 2016.
