Brandon Bair had his best season with Philadelphia in 2014 when he appeared in sixteen games to begin his NFL Career. He had seventeen tackles with 1.5 sacks. According to BleedingGreenNation, Chip Kelly signed Bair in an effort to have less free agents to deal with at the end of the season. The depth chart has seen another Oregon Alum in Defensive Lineman Taylor Hart, who is in his second season with Philadelphia move up the depth chart ahead of Bair.
Positional Depth on the Defensive Line is a place where you want depth in the NFL and Bair has also shown off some solid skills when it comes to playing Special Teams. By locking up Brandon Bair, Kelly now has six former Oregon players on the roster including Running Back Kenjon Barner, Defensive Back Walter Thurmond, and Wide Receiver Josh Huff.
Chip Kelly saw his team lose to the Atlanta Falcons on the road on Monday night. The Eagles host Dallas for the first divisional matchup of the season this Sunday at 1:25pm Pacific Time on FOX.
