In looking back at Marcus Mariota’s first official week in the NFL, the young man had an AFC Offensive Player of the Week Performance throwing for two-hundred nine yards and four touchdowns missing just three completions. He threw three of those touchdowns in just one half of action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and former Florida State Quarterback Jameis Winston. Mariota now takes the show on the road to Cleveland to take on the Browns.
Johnny Manziel looks to be the Starter at Quarterback on Sunday when the Titans come to town. The former Texas A&M Star in his second season with the Browns came in last week after Starter Josh McCown left with an injury. His performance was anything but solid throwing an interception and losing two forced fumbles. He also had a touchdown pass in a loss to the New York Jets. The Browns Defense was also not up to par against the Jets and will look to get back on track with Pro Bowler Joe Haden patrolling the secondary. However when it comes to covering a Quarterback like Marcus Mariota, passing is not the only priority.

In his first game, the former Oregon QB ran for just six yards, but he likely won’t hesitate to use his feet if need on Sunday against the Browns. Cleveland has a Linebacker corps that is ailing with some injuries according to ClevelandBrowns.com. This could be to the Titans benefit for both Mariota and the Tennessee Offensive Line Winning the battle up front and challenging the Defensive Backfield of the Browns.
As a dual threat quarterback Mariota could have a big day through the air or with his feet on Sunday. The Tennessee Titans visit the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at 10am Pacific Time
