According to CBS Sports Oregon Ducks Back-up Quarterback Jeff Lockie is expected to start against Georiga State today. Adams who broke his finger on his throwing hand against Eastern Washington, did play against Michigan State last week. Although he did well against Michigan State, a gimmie game like Georiga State is a good move to rest him him before Pac-12 play starts.

With a tough test against #21 Utah next week,  it is great coaching move to let Adams heal up before the schedule gets tough. Jeff Lockie is more then capable of running the offense for Oregon, as he has started games or finshed them in the past. Oregon on the offense side of the ball is banged up this year. They got back Bralon Addison, but lost Devon Allen at the beginning of the season, Allen is now probable. The Ducks then lost another great offensive play in running back Thomas Tyner who they lost for the whole season after a shoulder surgery in August.

Then Royce Freeman was taken out in the third quarter against Michigan State, but no word has been released if they intend to play him or not. If Oregon could rest him and let Freshman players get some reps a lot of banged up Ducks could get some rest and heal up.

Today game against Georgia State starts at 11am at Autzen on the Pac-12 Network. The Ducks are the big favorites here, with a 42.5 spread, expect this to be just a scrimmage game for them. You can follow our Live Twitter Stream of the game from our Live Stream Page
