In the world of College Football teams are always trying to get better, part of that is in who they play against. In the new era of the College Football Playoffs, schools around the country have future schedules laid out years in advance. In the case of Oregon, they now have their first opponent for the 2022 season. BYU. GoDucks.com announced a one game contract to be played at Autzen Stadium to begin the 2022 Regular season. It is the first opponent on the schedule for the Oregon Ducks that year.

As it currently stands it is the ‘Week 2’ matchup for the 2015 season. It is a good start for a season that begins seven years from now. Over the last few seasons BYU has become a contender for the College Football Playoff and this season. They are 2-1 in 2015 after losing last weekend to 10th ranked UCLA. The University of Oregon will look to add three additional non-conference home opponents in 2022 according to the article.
Brigham Young has a pretty solid schedule for next season including three Pac-12 opponents in Arizona, Utah and UCLA. BYU will also face West Virginia, Michigan State and Mississippi State next season in an effort to remain in the Top 25.
This week BYU faces Michigan on the road. Oregon opens Pac-12 play hosting Utah(5:45pm Pacific Time, FOX)
