The Oregon Ducks may have lost their most versatile Wide Receiver for the season. Byron Marshall was injured on a kickoff return in the second half against Utah last weekend and was helped off the field. He was seen minutes later getting on a cart and headed back to the locker room.
Oregon visits Colorado this weekend and the depth chart for the game which was released on Tuesday did not have Addison listed at either Wide Receiver or Running Back for the game against the Buffs.
On Wednesday Aaron Fentress from Comcast Sporsnet Northwest reported that it may not be a good diagnosis for Marshall. It appeared that he suffered a lower leg injury. The Senior has been a go to Wide Receiver in key spots this season saving drives on third and fourth down. Now, it is next man up and the Ducks should not have an issue with filling the hole, they may with filling the productivity. Entering the game against the Buffs, the depth chart has Charles Nelson, Dwayne Stanford and Bralon Addison at the Wide Receiver Position.
The Oregon Ducks are 2-2 and face Colorado on the road this week for a Nationally televised game. (ESPN, 7pm)
