Tennessee (1-2) will look to get back to .500 this week when the Buffalo Bills visit the Titans. Former Oregon Ducks Quarterback Marcus Mariota is coming off AFC Offensive Player of the Month honors that saw him in his first game throw for four touchdowns, tying the record of NFL Great Fran Tarkenton. Since the Week 1 win over Tampa Bay, Mariota was brought back to earth and sacked seven times against the Cleveland Browns and the team failed on a two point conversion two weeks ago in the Titans home opener against the Indianapolis Colts. The conversion would have tied the game and likely sent it into ovetime.
Following a week to reset and a bye, Tennessee now heads to Buffalo to take on an upstart Bills team who have a Quarterback of their own in Tyrod Taylor who has thrown for just under one-thousand yards this season and eight touchdowns. The Bills are 2-2 on the season and Head Coach Rex Ryan says the Buffalo Defense will do their best to not let Mariota have ‘his way’ against them.

The Bills are 2-2 entering the game this weekend and have averaged over two-hundred twenty nine yards per game this season. Opposing Quarterbacks have been held to just under six yards per pass, fourth best in the National Football League according to ESPN. I expect that the Titans will need to use the run game to find the end zone to give Mariota and the Titans Wide Receivers an opportunity to shine.
