The Oregon Ducks enter the game on the road against Washington this weekend bringing with them the longest current winning streak against a team in the Pac-12 Conference. It is a trend that the Huskies would love to end. Oregon has won the last eleven meeting between the two teams and enter with a record of 3-3. Right now, Washington boasts one of the top defenses in the Pac-12 Conference, despite losing four players from last season to the National Football League. The Ducks will have to use their full compliment of weapons on Saturday and that starts at Quarterback.

Washington is coming off a big win against the USC Trojans from last weekend and have plenty of momentum coming into the game this weekend hosting an Oregon team that appears ready to finally be given a loss in the series they have dominated over the last decade.

It is again not known who will get the start between Vernon Adams or Jeff Lockie or Taylor Allie, but expect all three to get playing time as they all bring a different dynamic and strength to the game. If Adams gets the start I would still expect to see either Lockie or Adams in the game. At Running Back, Oregon has the Pac-12 leader in rushing on the season in Royce Freeman and Taj Griffin who has proven to be a more than capable backup the last few weeks with a one-hundred yard game under his belt against Colorado in a win two weeks ago. Freeman is third in the country in rushing entering the game with 874 yards according to GoDucks.com. The Sophomore Running Back could end the game over 1000 yards on the season and could be in route to 2000 yards on the year for the Oregon Ducks.

The Oregon Ducks Defense played better last weekend despite the double overtime loss as Charles Nelson set the tone with a hit on Wide Receiver Dom Williams. Washington State Quarterback Luke Falk was sacked and hurried on numerous occasions, but in the end the Cougars Offense was successful despite Oregon having a ten point lead with under ten minutes to go in the game. The Defense needs to sure things up this week against Washington. The road has been good to Oregon, at least in the Pac-12 with a win over Colorado. Oregon lost by three points to Michigan State in non-conference play.

The Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies kickoff Saturday at 7:30pm Pacific Time on ESPN2.
