In NBA Preseason action former Oregon Ducks Player Aaron Brooks, now with Chicago put in a team high 22 points to lead the Bulls to a 103-94 win over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. Brooks also had five rebounds and six assists in the win. He had an impressive performance in his twenty-five minutes of action coming off the bench.
Another former Oregon Duck, Indiana Pacers Rookie Joseph Young saw limited action on the floor on Tuesday night going one for three from the floor and missing a pair of three pointers. Young is pushing for a spot in the Starting Lineup where Monta Ellis and George Hill combined for twenty-five points and ten rebounds to go with four steals on the night in the loss.
Brooks is more seasoned clearly, but both should have playing time this season. Young is a talent that blew up the NBA Summer League and with the preseason in full effect should be game ready to come off the bench this season for the Pacers. If needed, he could also step into the Starting Lineup if necessary.
Up next, the Indiana Pacers host Charlotte on Thursday. The Chicago Bulls host Dallas on Friday night.
