Oregon Ducks Head Coach Dana Altman will again look to the magic of Matthew Knight Arena as the 2015 season begins next week. The Oregon Ducks will look to replace Joseph Young who was with the Ducks for two seasons and broke scoring records across the board, but every year Altman seems to put together a team that finds their chemistry and are good enough to make an NCAA Tournament run. This year will be no exception.

Oregon has another transfer to watch in Dylan Ennis, who came from Villanova last season where he had a backup role. With the Ducks he will likely be front and center in the Starting lineup. He has already stepped up as a vocal leader for this team according to GoDucks.com. The 2015 Oregon Ducks  also has some firepower with Elgin Cook, Dwayne Benjamin and shot blocker Jordan Bell. Bell will be out for an undisclosed amount of time at the start of the season following offseason foot surgery, but experience for younger players is the name of the game.

Casey Benson returns for his Sophomore season and talented Freshman Kendall Small will see the court in 2015.

On Thursday night, the Oregon Men’s Basketball team had a scrimmage for the public and Dana Altman gave an impromptu injury report. One thing we knew, the other we did not, but when a player is on the floor in a boot it is hard to ignore.

The Oregon Ducks may start the season without Ennis and a timeline for his return is not known. Oregon plays two exhibition games before beginning the regular season. Northwest Christian Univerity visits Matthew Knight Arena on Tuesday night at 7pm(Pac-12 Networks). Southern Oregon faces Oregon on Sunday at 6pm.
