The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team has won two in row to start the season. Following a road win at North Carolina, the Ducks took to the hardwood at Matthew Knight Arena and shot 50 percent against the Hampton Lady Pirates who kept things interesting in the first quarter. Oregon found the basket and the defense before halftime taking control with a 20-4 advantage in the second quarter.
Senior Jillian Alleyne picked up where she left off in 2014 as another record fell into her pocket on Thursday night. Alleyne passed Oregon Ducks
Great Bev Smith on the All-Time Rebounding list picking up her 2nd double-double this season, her 71st overall in her career. For the game she had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Transfer Kat Cooper had another big game and led all scorers for Oregon with 16 points. She was 4 of 5 from beyond the arc and is 7 for 11 from three point range in two games this season.
