In 2015 the player that moved to the FBS level that turned heads was Oregon Ducks Quarterback Vernon Adams, who came to the Ducks from Eastern Washington. Now, with a bevy of Quarterbacks in the fold another Quarterback in the Big Sky Conference has the same idea and the Oregon Ducks are on his radar.

Montana State Quarterback Dakota Prokup will be the second FBS Quarterback to use the Graduate Transfer rule to move up to the Division I Level. According to Stewart Mandel from Fox Sports, Prokup could become a hot commodity for the 2016 season. He is a dual threat Quarterback and along with Oregon is also looking at Texas and TCU as possible landing spots. He is looking for a place where he will be comfortable and is reportedly looking at leaving since Tim Cramsey, the Offensive Coordinator for Montana State will not return to the school next season.

Prokup is a pro style Quarterback and will be visiting Oregon this weekend and he has had good things to say about the Ducks:

"Oregon is my number one school right now because of the shotgun-style of offense they runDakota Prokup discussed his future move to the FBS level with Fox Sports"

FishDuck.com had the opportunity to get some insight on how Dakota Prokup plays the game, he was as a Safety in High School, before transitioning to Quarterback in College.. In a way this could make him a more intriguing prospect for the Oregon Ducks. He has downhill running speed that is the equivalent of Marcus Mariota, maybe better. The big question is, will Oregon take a chance on another one year Quarterback at Starter to allow the guys behind him to develop? Time will tell, we can only hope that this time around there won’t be a math test in the way of the transition.
