The Oregon Ducks were again without lead scorer Freshman Tyler Dorsey for the second straight game who was nursing a sprained knee. However, Dana Altman did welcome back Shot Blocker Jordan Bell to the lineup who played in his first game of the season after missing the first eight games of the season following foot surgery in the off season.

Oregon would get off to a good start shooting over 80 percent from the floor hitting 8 of their first 10 shots, but that would quickly cool off. The Ducks would find themselves down 41-28 at halftime with Dylan Brooks leading the way for the game with 26 points. Elgin Cook had his most complete game of the year in the loss to Boise State with 22 points and 3 of 4 shots from beyond the arc. It was the Ducks second road loss of the season. The positive on the night was seeing Bell back in the lineup. He was active even in a limited role.

On the night Jordan Bell played 17 minutes and had 7 rebounds to go with 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals. Chris Boucher had 9 rebounds and 6 points but was quiet on the Defensive End for the first time this season. Oregon was down by 17 points in the second half but found a way to force turnovers and did not go away pulling to within 2 points.

The final shot of the game was in the hands of Dylan Brooks who missed a layup that would have tied it and sent it to overtime. Instead, the Oregon Ducks found their second loss of the season.
