Another Quarterback is following in the footsteps of Vernon Adams and transferring to the FBS level. Montana State Quarterback Dakota Prukop spent last weekend between two schools, Oregon and Alabama. He made his decision on Tuesday to transfer to the Oregon Ducks to finish out his college career. There is a lot to like about Prukop, from his size to his speed and he should easily fit into the Oregon Offensive scheme.
Dakota Prukop, like Adams, is a dual threat athlete who is as comfortable running with the ball as passing it. In his two seasons at Montana State, Prukop had 69 total touchdowns and this past season rushed for close to 800 yards in the Bobcats Offense. He is proven, and unlike Adams, will likely join Oregon in time for Spring Practice according to Andrew Nemic from the Oregonian.
The Oregon Ducks will not be lacking at the Quarterback position in 2016 with Jeff Lockie leading the charge with the most experience on the field. Morgan Mahalak, Travis Jonsen, and Prokup will lead the charge of possibly five Quarterbacks on the roster for next season. Jonsen would have likely had the upper hand and could see playing time, but with the experience on the field I expect that Prokup will be the Starter.

With the Transfer Rule and Graduating from Montana State, Prokup will go through the same process as Vernon Adams, and be eligible to play immediately for the Oregon Ducks when he enrolls.
