Oregon Ducks 2016 Football Schedule At A Glance

Earlier this week the Pac-12 Conference announced the football schedule for 2016. The season mirrors 2015 for Conference teams and the non conference features a trip to Nebraska.

With one game left this season, the 2016 schedule for the Oregon Ducks has been released. The Oregon Ducks host UC Davis and Virginia in their first two games. They then travel to Nebraska, to take on the Cornhuskers and a familiar face, in former Beavers’ coach Mike Riley. Oregon then opens up Pac-12 play against the Colorado Buffaloes at home.
The month of October opens on the road on October 1st, the Ducks travel to Pullman, Washington to take on the Cougars. Oregon hopes for a little redemption after being upset at home. On October 8th the Washington Huskies come to Autzen to see if they can end the Oregon Ducks streak of a 12 straight wins against them. October 15th is a bye for the Ducks. In Oregon’s only Friday game of the season, they play host California at Levi’s Stadium on October 21st.

The Arizona State Sun Devils come to Eugene just befor Halloween and it will be hard to live up to the 61-55 win the Ducks won in triple overtime this season on the road. Oregon then travels to Southern California to take on everybody’s favorite team to hate in the Pac-12, the USC Trojans. In Oregon’s biggest upset of the year they beat Stanford at home, the Ducks look have similar success when they host the Cardinal on November 12. The Utah Utes gave the Oregon Ducks one of the biggest beat downs in Autzen stadium that any visiting team ever has. Oregon will again look to return a favor with they go to Utah on November 19th. In a game that is always closer on the field then paper, the Beavers host the Civil War in Corvallis. Oregon State looks to stop the Ducks’ eight game winning streak in the Civil War.

The 2015 season comes to a close against TCU on Saturday, January 2nd when the 15th ranked Ducks meet 10th ranked Horned Frogs. Kickoff is set for 3:45pm Pacific Time on ESPN.
