Oregon Ducks In The NFL: Marcus Mariota Out vs Houston, Could Return For Finale
Marcus Mariota will be spending his third week on the sideline with an injury this week, but could return for the Titans finale against Indianapolis.

Former Oregon Ducks Quarterback Marcus Mariota has not had an easy rookie season in the National Football League. He has suffered two injuries, the most recent to an MCL that will keep him sidelined against Houston this weekend. However there is a bright spot for Mariota and the future of the Tennessee Titans.
Mariota may be in line for the Rookie of the Year award, his team, at 3-11 is in line for the top pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and there is a chance we could see him on the field again this season according to the Tennessean. Mariota missed two games earlier this season due to a similar injury, but this time it is not as severe and the former Oregon Signal caller could return on January 3rd against Indianapolis for the Titans final game of the year.
For the season, Marcus Mariota has thrown for over 2800 yards with 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also leads the NFL in fumbles with 8 on the year. His highlights on the year include an 87 yard run for a touchdown against Jacksonville and a touchdown catch after lining up at Wide Receiver against the New York Jets.
