The year has not yet come to an end but the Sports Calendar is always moving forward. As we say goodbye to College Football over the next few weeks, Spring sports begin to enter the calendar and College Baseball is among them. Earlier this week, Collegiate Baseball Today released their Top 40 to start the season (which begins in February 2016) and the Oregon Ducks are inside the Top 15, ranked 14th.

Oregon will face 17 teams that were ranked in the poll and return three experienced Starting pitchers with Matt Krook, Cole Irvin and David Peterson, all lefty starters.

Stephen Nagosek and Cooper Stiles return to anchor the bullpen for Oregon in 2016. Phil Craig-St. Louis and Matt Eureste will lead a talented Offense on the field. Craig-St.Louis hit close to .300 last season and was on a hot streak from the mid point of the season till the end leading the team to an NCAA Tournament appearance.
