Oregon Ducks Look To Start 11-0, Face Seattle

The Oregon Ducks will look to get to 11-0 before starting Pac-12 Conference play next week hosting Seattle University on Monday.

The Oregon Women’s Basketball team will look to finish out the non-conference slate undefeated. They are one of nine teams that remain undefeated this season and even with a 10-0 mark they have yet to break the Top 25 this season. If the trend continues, it will likely happen next week as Pac-12 Conference play begins.

On they year, Jillian Alleyne has added to her total of double doubles from last season which now stands at 26 straight games. The Ducks are averaging over 88 points per game in 2015 and welcome Seattle University on Monday night. Last time out it was a rout against Portland State with a 122-59 win. Oregon scored first going on a 14-1 run to begin the game with Defense.

Alleyne has help this season in the form of several players including Maite Cazorla who was named Pac-12 Player of the Week last week. She had 16 points, 12 assists and 7 steals against the Pilots and shot 7 for 8 from the floor. Oregon is near the top in the country in scoring(2nd), field goal percentage(2nd) and 3-point shooting(2nd).

The Oregon Ducks begin Pac-12 play with a trip to Southern California next week visiting UCLA and USC. Tipoff against Seattle University is set for 6pm Pacific Time.
