The Oregon Ducks and TCU will meet in the Alamo Bowl on January 2nd. For Oregon, it is typically about the uniforms and the high powered offense, but a few days before the big matchup, U of O Athletics released a mock up of what the end zone will look like on the field and it’s more than pretty – it’s spectacular.

It is no surprise that Phil Knight and NIKE helped with the design and the cost to put it on the field for the game. The Oregon Ducks are getting back into the football groove following the Holiday break and close to a month off as they prepare for Texas Christian University. According to GoDucks.com, Tuesday’s practice saw a return to football normalcy for the team that finished the regular season 9-3 and will look to get to 10 wins on the season.

On Tuesday the team visited the Center for the Intrepid Military Rehabilitation Center and brought some ‘Duck Swag’ with them as a post Christmas treat for recovering troops and their families.

The Oregon Ducks will look to finish the season in the Top 10 facing TCU on Saturday, January 2nd. Kickoff is set for 3:45pm Pacific Time on ESPN.
