One of the most anticipated matchups of the Bowl Season may have taken a serious turn in the favor of the Oregon Ducks. Boykin was with team mates at the bar when fans began to taunt him leading to the fight. He reportedly hit a bartender and had an altercation with a police officer who was arriving on the scene by bicycle according to the report. He was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.
He will not play and that takes away a big part of the Offense for 10th ranked TCU. He has passed for over 3500 yards and 31 touchdowns and earlier this season had his team in the running for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Quarterback Bram Kohlhausen will likely get the start for the Horned Frogs. He has a win under his belt when Boykin was out earlier this season with an injury against Kansas. On the season he thrown for 369 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception.
