The Pac-12 Conference schedule has officially started for the Oregon Ducks and the rest of the Conference of Champions. It will be another season of upsets in the Pac-12. On Sunday afternoon, Dana Altman saw his team get off to a sluggish start on the road and ultimately lose their first Conference game of the season to the now 10-2 Oregon State Beavers in Corvallis.

Oregon started the game with just 3 points in the first 10 minutes, the Beavers capitalized with 9. Oregon did pull within one point of the lead but Oregon State pulled off a 20-4 run to take the lead for good. Shooting for Oregon was sluggish shooting 6 for 21 from the floor and just 2 of 10 from beyond the arc. The Oregon State Beavers saw five players in double figures and made a statement for 2015. They can contend. Beavers Head Coach Wayne Tinkle has done quite a bit of work in just two years at the helm.

Chris Boucher paced the Oregon Ducks with 16 points, 7 rebounds and a steal. Every team has games where the shots just don’t fall in their favor and it was that kind of day for Oregon. Dylan Ennis saw action in his second game and picked up his first points in an Oregon uniform finishing the game with 2 points and a rebound. Oregon will regroup and welcome Cal and Stanford this week at Matthew Knight Arena.
