The 2015 season for the Oregon Ducks Football team has come to and end, but not they way they wanted with a loss in the Alamo Bowl in triple overtime.  Now, the Spring semester begins in Eugene and with it the start of something new. The likely future at the Quarterback position, Dakota Prukop was admitted to Oregon and will begin classes today. It is not a scenerio like last season that hinged on the results of a math test, so therefore the Twitter world is not buzzing so much about the more normal situation. However, the benefits come Fall 2016 are huge for the Oregon Ducks.

In beginning classes now the Montana State Transfer will also have available to him coaches, Spring ball, he will be on the field for the Spring Game in May and also have a Fall Camp under his belt before the 2016 Regular season begins. Prukop will have the opportunity to work his way into and get to know the ins and outs of the Oregon Ducks Offense led by new Offensive Coordinator Matt Lubick.

With Vernon Adams graduated, Prukop will be the new comber as the Oregon Ducks will have Jeff Lockie back, as well as Travis Jonsen, Taylor Alie, and Morgan Mahalak. Oregon will also welcome another Class of 2016 Quarterback Recruit in Tristen Wallace, who will play Wide Receiver for the Oregon Ducks.

While there is not much talk about Dakota Prukop enrolled and starting classes at Oregon, the pressure will be less on him to perform immediately, as was the case with Vernon Adams, who was clearly ready to step into the Starting role. Prukop will have time to become acclimated with the team and build some chemistry. The 2015 season is over, but the future appears bright at the Quarterback position.
