Oregon Football Recruiting: Jared Mayden Decommits From Oregon Ducks
The top recruit from the 2016 Class for the Oregon Ducks, Cornerback Jared Mayden has decommitted from the program, but it does not come as much of a surrpise.

The Oregon Ducks are already seeing a fallout from Coaching Changes announced on Monday. Defensive Coordinator Don Pellum was demoted to Linebackers Coach and Oregon is on the search for a new Defensive Coordinator. The Ducks top 2016 Recruit, Cornerback Jared Maden II announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he has decommitted from the Oregon Ducks. Mayden would likely have filled a position of need next season and could have been an immediate starter from Day One.
Mayden has been considering his options since he committed to Oregon according to the Oregonian, He holds offers from Florida, Florida State, Georia, and LSU to name a few. Of course, once the Oregon Ducks settle on their new Defensive Coordinator it could turn the tide and Mayden could re-commit, but the Oregon Ducks are also at risk of losing other recruits on the Defensive side of the ball in the process.

On the Offensive side of the ball Tristen Wallace and Dillon Mitchell are now the top members of the Class of 2016. Signing Day is February 2nd and fast approaching. If the Oregon Ducks are looking for a signature signing in the upcoming class, time is running out. The sooner they make a decision on a new Defensive Coordinator, the faster the bleeding will stop when it comes to recruiting.
